Before you rank it

• →Category certificates differ by route: central OBC-NCL format for MCC's AIQ, the state's own format for state counselling. One certificate rarely serves both.
• →Reporting is in person with originals — no proxy. Keep a signed receipt for every document handed over.

What the numbers can't tell you — ask a senior

• ?Hostel reality — rooms per student, mess quality, and whether first-years actually get a seat or hunt for PGs.
• ?Patient load — clinical exposure is the education. A packed OPD teaches more than a famous name with an empty ward.
• !Internship stipend — this college reported to NMC that it pays no UG intern stipend (NMC disclosure, Dec 2025–Jan 2026 — internet-sourced). Ask why before ranking it high.
• ?Faculty presence — vacancies in key departments show up in NMC inspection reports and in seniors' complaints long before rankings move.
