Which counsellings should you register for?
Most students register for too few counsellings — and find out at document verification that a certificate is the wrong format or the wrong year. Two questions, and you get your registration list, your state's domicile rules, and the certificate checks for your category.
Special quotas — real seats, real conditions
Each of these is a separate door with its own paperwork. None can be claimed at allotment time — the certificate has to exist before choice filling.
Needs a disability certificate from one of NMC's DESIGNATED centres — a state hospital certificate is not enough for the quota. Centre visits take days: start before counselling, not during.
A separate application and its own screening — not just a choice in MCC's list. Carries a service-liability structure; read it before ranking AFMC first.
Ward-of-insured-person seats need the IP card and contribution history. Deep closings that exist only with the eligibility — never rank them without it.
Sponsorship + relationship documents and embassy attestations, at several times the fee. Deemed NRI runs via MCC; state NRI rules are the state's own.
Central-pool and DU CW quotas need Kendriya Sainik Board / records-office certificates in specific priority categories — the priority number decides, not the category alone.
AMU, Jamia and minority colleges run internal or quota-gated admissions for their communities — documentation is the institution's own format.
AICTE's special scholarship scheme for J&K/Ladakh domiciles with its own counselling and fee support — separate from both MCC and the state round.
